My name is Brandon Wang, the founder of Heaviside Capital. Heaviside Capital is a Hong Kong based investment manager that seeks to invest in high quality businesses over the long term. Heaviside Capital aims to partner with honest management teams who allocate capital wisely.

Heaviside Capital is named after the great mathematician and physicist, Oliver Heaviside, whose contributions have afforded humanity the foundations of modern life. Much of modern mathematics, telecommunications, science, and electrical engineering, owe their foundations to Heaviside. He was, however, misunderstood and yet his fundamental value to society remains timeless. Similarly, we seek to generate exceptional returns by investing in businesses whose fundamental value may be misunderstood but remains resilient against the fullness of time.

In a previous life, I have started 3 companies and have worked at companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Nvidia, and Peloton. My background is in electrical and software engineering. Having started companies in the past, I have also held the hats of HR, marketer, lawyer, therapist, janitor and so on.
